It was revealed by Fuyuka that he has been ill since his childhood and therefore he was forbidden from any extensive physical effort. In the Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone series, he was seen wearing the Arakumo Gakuen school uniform that consists a light brown jacket with a white shirt and a tie which shows the Arakumo emblem.
Because of his popularity in school, it can be assumed he's considered attractive. While still ill, he was usually seen in his light blue patient clothes. His ruffled hair resembles that of Tsunami Jousuke. Taiyou has bright orange hair and dull blue eyes, possesses a slim build and is roughly Tenma's height.
